Wendy's Crock Pot Oktoberfest Dinner
Ingredients
- 1 large can Sauerkraut
- 4 smoked pork chops (about 4-5 ounces each)
- 1 cup dry white wine
- 1 bay leaf
- 6 whole cloves
- 1 medium sized onion
- 1 large red apple cored and thinly sliced
Instructions
- Rinse sauerkraut in cold water and drain thoroughly.
- Place chops in the bottom of the crock pot.
- Add drained sauerkraut, wine and bay leaf.
- Press cloves into onion. Press down into sauerkraut.
- Add apple slices, pushing down into sauerkraut.
- Cover and cook on low about 8 hours.
- Enjoy!
Notes
- Serve with mustard if you wish. I sometimes will use a Brandt smoked turkey thigh in place of the pork chops.
