Whole Chicken Crock Pot

A delicious warming meal!

Ingredients:

1 whole chicken
1 C chopped onion
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp white pepper
1 tsp cayenne

2 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt (optional)
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp black pepper

Method:

Combine all the herbs and spices and rub over the chicken. Place chicken in a cake pan, cover and refrigerate overnight.
When you are ready to cook your chicken, spray the crock pot with Pam and lay the chopped onion on the bottom. Set the chicken on top and cook on low for about 6 hours.
The juice from the bottom of the pot makes a lovely gravy or stock.
