Kale Chips
A delicious, crunchy and healthy snack!
Ingredients:
I head of kale
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt to taste
Method:
• Pre-heat the oven to 350F.
• Remove the ribs from the kale leaves.
• Wash the kale thoroughly and dry with a salad spinner.
• Rip the leaves into bite sized pieces.
• Place them in a plastic bag with the oil and salt and rub the oil around the leaves so that all are coated.
• Place the kale leaves on a baking tray, and bake for approximately 15 minutes, or until crispy.
Makes 4 servings; count each serving as 1 fat.
