Recipe courtesy of Kraftcanada.com
Ingredients:
¼ Cup Asian sesame dressing
2 tbsp light soy sauce
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp minced gingerroot
1 clove garlic, minced
1 beef flank steak, or other lean cut of beef (450g/1lb)
1 tsp hot chili sauce
1 tsp sesame seeds
1 green onion, thinly sliced
Method:
Mix the first 5 ingredients in a bowl. Reserve 3 tbsp of the dressing mixture. Cut steak across the grain into 20 slices, each about ¼ inch thick. Add to remaining dressing mixture; toss to coat. Refrigerate for 1 hour to marinate.
Remove the meat from the marinade; discard marinade. Thread meat onto 20 skewers; place on baking sheet.
Barbeque or broil 4 to 6 minutes, or until done to your liking. Meanwhile mix chili sauce and reserved dressing mixture.
Brush meat with the chili sauce mixture; place on a platter. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and onions.
Makes 4 servings of 5 skewers each. Count each serving as 3 protein.
