Slow Cooker Hunter's Style Pork Roast
A delicious way to prepare a pork roast!
Ingredients
3 ½ to 4 quart Slow Cooker
2 ½ to 3 pound pork boneless sirloin or roast
1 small package of baby carrots
2 cans (14 ½ ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 envelope (1 ¼ ounces) traditional Hunter's gravy mix
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons water
1 can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 package (8 or 9 ounces) frozen cut green beans, thawed and drained
Cooking Directions
Place pork in 3 ½ to 4 quart slow cooker; top with baby carrots, mix diced tomatoes with dry gravy mix, pour over boneless pork and carrots.
Cover and cook on either the low setting for 9 to 11 hours or the high setting for 4 ½ to 5 ½ hours.
Remove pork and carrots to serving platter, using slotted spoon. Cover with aluminum foil or platter's lid. Mix flour with the water, gradually stir mixture, mushrooms, and green beans into the liquid in the cooker. Cover and cook on high heat setting 15 to 30 minutes, or until slightly thickened . Serve sauce with pork and carrots.
